Immortalis Journal of Health Law and Ethics (IJHLE) is an open-access scholarly journal dedicated to the advancement of research in health law, medical ethics, bioethics, health policy, patient rights, healthcare governance, and legal issues in contemporary medical practice. The journal serves as an academic forum for interdisciplinary dialogue among law, medicine, ethics, public health, social sciences, and public policy.

The journal welcomes original research articles, normative legal studies, socio-legal research, case studies, systematic literature reviews, and conceptual papers that contribute to the development of fair, accountable, and human-centered healthcare systems. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, hospital law, medical liability, informed consent, medical malpractice, patient safety, medical records, telemedicine, digital health technologies, health data protection, nursing ethics, bioethics, pharmaceutical law, public health law, and patients’ rights in healthcare services.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial team and are then evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers who are experts in their fields. This ensures the integrity, quality, and originality of the work published. This journal is published quarterly, with new issues released every February, May, August, and November  Immortalis Journal of Health Law and Ethics (IJHLE) upholds the principles of academic ethics and is committed to maintaining high standards of publication by following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
